Stop. Think about your (lack of) intentionality with your social media presence. Or how you present yourself to the world in general. Why does this matter to you? And if it doesn't matter, don't be so quick to applaud yourself for your unique humility.
As children of God, we should want people to see us!
In Matthew Matthew 5:16, Jesus is teaching. He says, "You are the light of the world. A Town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven."
Basically, when people see you, it should reflect the glorify of God. Knowing what we know about our Heavenly Father, why would we not want more people to know Him?
If you are a direct image of God's goodness, then why keep it to yourself? BE BOLD!
Too many people out here have acres of influence and lack Godly wisdom. Meanwhile, you have an acre of Godly wisdom and refuse to water your 10 ft of influence.
From here on out, treat all interpersonal interactions as if you are this person's only bridge to knowing God. I. am not telling you to slap everyone with your Bible and drown them in Holy oil. Just be the Light. Walk in the Spirit. Reflect Good.
